PUBLIC PARTICIPATION AND SUBMISSION OF MEMORANDA ON LOCAL PHYSICAL AND LAND USE DEVELOPMENT PLANS
The committee on Lands, Physical Planning, Urban Development, Housing and Municipalities is considering Local Physical and Land Use Development Plans for Kimilili Municipality, Kapsokwony and Naitiri towns, and Chwele, Sirisia, Brigadier, Lwakhakha, Bumula, Tongaren and Cheptais Urban Centres, (2023-2033).
Pursuant to Article 196(1)(b) of the constitution of Kenya, 2010 read together with Section 87 of the County Governments Act, 2012 the committee invites members of the public to submit memoranda on the following:
1) Local physical and land use development plans for Kimilili Municipality, (2023-2033)
2) Local physical and land use development plans for Kapsokwony Town, (2023-2033)
3) Local physical and land use development plans for Naitiri Town, (2023-2033)
4) Integrated strategic urban development plans for Bumula Urban Centre, (2023-2033)
5) Integrated strategic urban development plans for Cheptais, (2023-2033)
6) Integrated strategic urban development plans for Chwele Urban Centre, (2023-2033)
7) Integrated strategic urban development plans for Tongaren Urban Area, (2023-2033)
8) Integrated strategic urban development plans for Lwakhakha Urban Centre, (2023-2033)
9) Integrated strategic urban development plans for Sirisia Urban Centre, (2023-2033)
10) Integrated strategic urban development plans for Brigadier Urban Centre, (2023-2033)
Written memoranda can be hand delivered to the Office of the County Assembly Clerk, County Assembly Building, Bungoma, Or emailed to info@bungomaassembly.go.ke; to be received on or before Monday 22nd April, 2024 at 4.30 p.m.
